After having a breast augmentation in Europe, this 25-year-old woman felt that her areolas (the skin around the nipple) were positioned unnaturally low, especially from a profile view. She was satisfied with her current implants, not wanting to replace them with newer Los Angeles breast implants, but she was bothered by her inverted nipples and wanted them corrected in addition to repositioning them with a breast lift.
When nipples are inverted, they appear to point inward. It can be caused from a number of things, but it can be treated through plastic surgery. To address her concerns, her surgeon performed bilateral (both sides) inverted nipple repair to make her nipples look more natural. Her surgeon made incisions only around the circumference of her areolas to minimize scarring, enabling him to perform a breast lift, repositioning her nipples without making further incisions.
As the “after” pictures show, her breasts look much more natural with the new position of her areolas. Additionally, her surgeon was able to successfully correct her inverted nipples, making them appear normal and symmetrical. Overall, she was very happy with her results and glad that she had undergone Los Angeles breast lift and nipple repair.
